Job Description

What you will be working on:1. Maintenance Supervision: Plan/supervise/check/verify maintenance works (such as repairs to potholes and parking signboards, road re-surfacing, painting of parking lots, electrical works, horticulture, cleaning, pest control, etc.) at URA vehicle parks carried out by appointed term contractors or service providers. 2. Cost Estimation & Work Orders: Prepare cost estimates and work orders for execution of works and payments to term contractors. 3. Site Meetings: Attend site meetings regarding maintenance issues at URA vehicle parks. 4. Emergency Response: Inform/activate term contractor on maintenance issues (such as faulty lighting, damaged installations, etc.) at URA vehicle parks and monitor progress of follow-up repair works. 5. Public Feedback: Handle public feedback pertaining to maintenance issues at URA vehicle parks. 6. Tender Preparation: To put-up expenditure paper, prepare tender documents, put-up tender reports for calling maintenance-related term contracts. 7. Application Software & Systems: Use application software/system to perform job functions (such as updating of inventory records, tracking budget utilisation and generating reports) 8. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support (such as ad hoc projects, annual budgets preparation, etc.).What we are looking for:1. Educational Backgroun A Diploma in Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any other related discipline. Candidates with relevant work experience in lieu of this will also be considered. 2. Language Proficiency: Good writing and spoken English. 3. Communication Skills: Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. 4. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in working with spreadsheets. Good digital skills and knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and / or RPA will be added advantage. 5. Work Style: Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as in a team.
