Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Planning Manager: Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Costing, M&E, and Business Development departments on tender requirements and submissions.
Collaborate with construction department staff on tender planning, site operations, and EHS matters.
Attend subcontractor and supplier workshops for tenders and prepare necessary documentation.
Ensure proposed planning aligns with drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
Develop detailed Microsoft Project schedules (or equivalent) showing work sequences from commencement to TOP.
Propose feasible Temporary Site Facilities and suitable construction sequences for Structural and Architectural works.
Recommend cost-effective ERSS solutions for the Costing department.
Provide technical support to the tender team for queries from consultants.
Estimate manpower and resources required for tender projects.
Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings, highlighting discrepancies, value engineering opportunities, and key considerations.
Collaborate with the Project team on proposals during tender stages and post-award execution.
Participate in safety site inspections to monitor compliance, workmanship, and EHS standards.
Review construction previews submitted by the project team and coordinate for Japan HQ approval.
Assist office management in improving site EHS practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD for planning and coordination purposes.?
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including experience as a Site Engineer with hands-on on-site construction execution.
Experienced in developing project planning schedules and monitoring construction timelines.
Knowledge of contracts, authority requirements, and construction regulations.
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments (Costing, M&E, Business Development) for tender coordination.
Skilled in creating construction/project master schedules using Microsoft Project (or equivalent).
Experience in participating in safety cross-inspections and monitoring site compliance.
Strong ability to highlight critical work items to Site Project Manager to prevent delays.
Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.?
Additional Information:
Salary:? Up to SGD 8,800 +VB (1-2 Months)
Working Location: City Hall
Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
