Responsible for APAC & China Genotyping labs planning and quality management
Accountabilities
Planning accountabilities
Capture customers\' short, medium and long-term demands
Engagement with customers (training, alignment, etc)
Organize quarterly meetings with customers - update on planning accuracy and deliverables
Close engagement with the lab operation and data analysis team to understand capacity and needs for work sharing
Member of the Genotyping Planning Network and close engagement to work on Genotyping tools improvements and work sharing
Quality accountabilities
Manage QMS development and implementation efforts for the labs
Engage with Seeds Development Quality Lead and also Genotyping Global Quality Lead to share experience and keep the WoW aligned
Prepare and report Genotyping Global KPIs
Support with the lab documentation management process (change management, SOPs, revisions, etc)
Conduct 1 internal audit annually and support on external audits as ETS and global/P&S audits
Drive annual customer survey and work together with the leadership to develop and implement an action plan for improvement
Member of the Genotyping Quality Network
Perform all activities in accordance with the Syngenta Health, Safety, Environmental Policy and Quality Management/Stewardship guidelines.
Qualifications
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Biological Science or related field, and 5+ years of professional experience in the area of Agriculture Biotechnology.
Business proficiency in Mandarin Chinese as you will need to work with our China counterparts and conduct meetings in Mandarin
Knowledge in Genotyping technical platforms such as high throughput PCR platforms, Real-Time PCR, Stewardship Quality Control for GM detection, Sequencing based Genotyping platform
Experience in high throughput lab equipment, automation and robotic solutions, and IT systems
Developing work instructions/ SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) is preferred
High energy and drive, with a positive, proactive attitude
Ability to work under pressure, responsible, meticulous with a positive working attitude
Ability to work well in a team and to communicate with individuals throughout various levels of our organization
Fast learner and able to work independently
