The E&I Plant Engineer\'s main duty is to ensure new equipment installations and process modifications meet requirements. They must also uphold safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance by developing safety protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections, and training personnel on maintenance and safety practices.The Opportunity

This company manufactures high-performance synthetic rubber and fluorinated specialty intermediates, with production facilities in Japan and Singapore.They are looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Operation Engineer who have the experience in Chemical or Manufacturing environment. • Manage new equipment installations, including specifications, purchasing, installation, and commissioning.
• Oversee equipment modifications, design reviews, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Plan and implement workplace safety and health programs, achieving related KPIs.
• Lead the reduction and closure of Equipment Change Requests (ECR), investigating causes and executing solutions.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Review vendor contracts, assess contractor performance, and conduct performance audits.
• Liaise with HQ technical team for process improvements and equipment issues.
• Develop, review, and train on USP Engineering Standards (USPES).

The Talent

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in high-pressure equipment (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a diploma, or 3 years with a degree.
• Extensive experience in motorized equipment service and troubleshooting, with good mechanical knowledge and ability to read P&ID drawings.
• Immediate starter will be an advantage.
