POSITION SUMMARYThe plant manager will lead the plant to ensure the highest standards are achieved in terms of safety, environmental compliance, personnel, plant capacity and efficiency, product quality and availability. The plant manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the plant.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the plant to ensure the highest standards are achieved in terms of safety, environmental compliance, personnel, plant capacity and efficiency, product quality and plant availability.
  • Ensure plant compliance with all internal and external health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with regional operations controller to develop and implement operating budget and capital plan.
  • Continue the enhancement of the existing safety culture such that our people are not injured on or off the job.
  • Continue development of an effective team, including self-directed work groups in both the quarry and plant operations that work well across the plant as well as all organization functions.
  • Work with employees to continue to develop innovative initiatives to improve operational performance.
  • Maintain effective relationships with employees, local communities, state and federal regulatory agencies, state and federal elected officials, suppliers, customers and company's functional staff.
  • Ensure the entire workforce is effectively developed, deployed, and managed.
  • Ensure quarry operational plans are developed and implemented for optimum ore utilization. Maintain the company's equipment, assets, and resources to ensure maximum long-term value.
  • Implement Strategic Framework and corporate initiatives, ensuring these are clearly communicated, understood, and followed within the plant.
  • Contribute to the success of the organization by sharing information and applying internal best practices.
  • Clearly communicate operational goals throughout the plant.
  • Develop and implement innovative initiatives to improve plant performance.
  • Maintain effective relationships with functional groups, employees, suppliers, customers, local communities, and local, state, and federal governments.
  • Perform "on call" duties on rotation with the supervision team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 5 years' experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, and/or mine/minerals processing.
  • 3 years' supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining a safe work culture.
  • Must possess strong people skills and be capable of developing and maintaining positive relationships with managers, employees, and customers.
  • Proven track record for creating employee ownership of safety, production and quality, leads by example.
  • Proven team building, leadership skills and team participation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and oral. Well organized and able to process large amounts of complex information.
  • Able to motivate, coach and develop people in alignment with the company's Mission and Vision.
  • Effective troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
  • Strong financial management skills (analysis, budgeting, planning, etc.)
  • Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per monthSchedule:
  • Day shift
Supplemental Pay:
  • 13th month salary
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Manila: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
