Roles & Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns and supervise the work operation, maintenance where applicable.
• Responsible for developing maintaining and instituting operating and emergency procedures.
• Makes daily inspection of plant machinery and equipment, inspects ongoing activities for safety and environmental compliance and for adherence to standard operation procedures.
• Reviews and approves maintenance work request in conjunction with the Plants Operators and supervisors and coordinators plants operation and maintenance schedules.
• Reviews and interprets operation data and makes appropriate changes in procedures to ensure continuous and efficient operation and maintenance.
• Responsible for implementing an effective training program that ensures that employees meet minimum requirements of job classification and are adequately prepared to assume all responsibilities of their assigned position.
• Select, supervise, trains, develops and evaluates performance of maintenance staff.
• Prepares work orders indicating malfunctions of instruments and authorizes work order request. Requisition new parts and instruments. Plans and supervises repair and maintenance during major outages
• Provides guidance and direction to facility staff members
• Responsible for maintaining acceptable plant morale
• Develops operation performance and productivity goals in conjunction with the Facility Manager via the annual business plan and continuously strives to improves performance
• Ensures that the facility and all personnel operate safely at all times and promotes environment whereby safety is a priority.

Job Requirements:

• Three years or more previous experience in comparable role in an administrative support or business support role is required
• Bachelors or Associates degree or Diploma in a technical field or equivalent desirable
• Any experience in working in an incineration plant environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role would be a major advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of the operation maintenance and control of boiler and steam plant.

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $4,500.00 - $6,000.00 per monthSchedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
