For everyone, everywhere.More about .Salary: SGD 14,000 - 15,800 monthly + RSUWhat are we looking for? - We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join PPI team to expand and maintain direct integrations with payments systems and partners all over the worldWhat is PPI team - The PPI team sits within our Platform tribe, which designs, builds and operates the foundational direct integration infrastructure that power the product that moves \xc2\xa34bn every month.In Wise, our Platform Engineering Lead position is responsible for leading a specific domain from roadmap through to operation, as well as the people side of the team.Here\'s how you\'ll be contributing to the Team:

• Design, implement and maintain integrations between Wise and complex financial systems
• Develop and design scalable and repeatable network architecture and computer systems infrastructure
• Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Analyze infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Working and collaborating with our larger platform engineering team and alongside product engineering on global projects
• Communicate with various stakeholders throughout Wise, plan roadmaps with your team, and work through challenges to determine scope and realistic delivery

• Work with other Leads to influence the direction and change current technology implementations in order to improve and modernise current Payment Integrations solutions.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Systems and Network teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development for team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical initiatives with business goals.

Infrastructure & Systems Management:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure systems and network infrastructures.
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical systems, both on-premise and in AWS.
• Develop and enforce best practices for system administration, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

AWS & Cloud Technologies:

• Drive cloud adoption and optimization strategies, leveraging AWS services to enhance system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead the migration and management of applications and services within the AWS environment.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the cloud.

Network Engineering:

• Oversee the architecture and management of enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based networking solutions.
• Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ensure reliable connectivity and uptime across all network components.

Strategic Planning & Innovation:

• Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the infrastructure strategy.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing new tools and technologies as appropriate.
• Lead initiatives to automate processes, improve system efficiency, and reduce operational costs.

QualificationsA bit about you:

• Previous experience leading and managing teams (3-8+ team size) in a fast moving, dynamic environment - From Connect
• Experience in designing and deploying complex infrastructure on cloud and on-prem. - From SYS
• Experience in making complex deployments repeatable using modern Infrastructure as Code principles and scripting. - From SYS
• Applying software development principles to infrastructure design and deployment - From SYS & NW
• Ability translating business requirements into explainable technical solutions for internal and external stakeholders - From SYS & NW
• Experience in leading and managing technical projects
• Experience with complex deployments (e.g., configuring firewalls, IPsec, GRE, security policies, network ACLs, BGP routing, and troubleshooting complex networks)
• Passion for automation, building and testing the tooling needed to build better products
