Calibre is a national program for Cancer Liquid Biopsy in Singapore. Using multi-omic approaches, we aim to carry out molecular profiling of longitudinal patient blood samples for the discovery of novel biomarkers that can aid in the development of real-time diagnostics for cancer monitoring as well as find novel windows for treatment intervention.
In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of clinicians, biologists and bioinformaticians to develop analytical methods for longitudinal analysis of patient plasma samples over time. We are looking for motivated and talented bioinformatics postdoctoral fellows to join us, to lead in the development of methods for sequencing analysis of circulating tumor nucleic acids (e.g. error correction, low-frequency variant calling), as well as to take scientific lead in analyzing these data in relation to clinical events.
Job Requirements:
- Strong programming skills
- PhD in cancer, genomics, computer science or related field
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with sequencing pipelines and ctDNA analysis would be advantageous
