• Issue hire statements and freight invoices, ensure settlement of final hire, balance freight and finalize laytime calculation as per Charter Party;
• Monitor and follow up on AR / AP to ensure timely receipts / payments;
• Update database, collate and provide required data, statistics, analysis, evaluation and reports in a timely manner;
• Prepare / check Charter Party, Addendum etc. and ensure proper documentation in place;
• Monitor vessels’ movement for assigned vessels, ensure that Charterers’ requirements are met and in compliance with Charter Party, arrange for Owners’ matters as required;
• Voyage planning, issue voyage instructions, monitor operations, daily speed / consumption, bunker remaining onboard, plan / arrange for bunker replenishment and ensure timely delivery, handle any issues that arise, ensure proper documents available, make recommendations to improve operational efficiency;
• Negotiate with port agents and service providers for best possible prices, appoint and instruct port agents, weather routing and other service providers as required;
• Check DA / invoices and liaise with relevant parties on cost reimbursements / payments;
• Provide prompt support to internal and external parties;
• Other works as assigned by the Manager or Management from time to time.

Job Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in Maritime transportation or related major;
• At least 2-3 years dry bulk shipping experience;
• Knowledge of Charter Parties including post-fixture and operations work;
• Good negotiation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Attention to details, result driven, proactive team player;
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Good computer skills.
