Offer Description
The Centre for Family and Population Research at Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, National University of Singapore (NUS) is recruiting 2 Postdoctoral Fellows for the project. This research project aims to develop an evidence base on the role of gender inequality in shaping women\'s health in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). Using the life course framework, it endeavours to illustrate a series of novel pathways linking gender inequality and gender-based adversities with the health and well-being of women in mid and later-life. The project\'s objectives include research publications on the topic, the establishment of a global research network on gender inequality and later-life health, and the production of a policy document containing a summary of key research findings, research, and data gaps, as well as policy suggestions.
The postdoc will work with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PIs to develop multiple research papers. Job duties include, but not limited to, the following:
