Title: PostGres DBA, Automation, AWS Location: Singapore (candidates outside Singapore must be willing to relocate to Singapore) Type: Contract 1 year to start with Notice: 30-45 days max references are most welcome Must Have: 1. BS in Computer Science or related field. 2. Overall 8+ years of relevant industry experience 3. Experience working as PostGres DBA for highly available systems. 4. Experience working in AWS public cloud is must. 5. Must have thorough understanding and experience in PostgreSQL database architecture, logical and physical design, automation, documentation, installs, shell scripting, PL/ SQL programming, catalog navigation, query tuning, system tuning, resource contention analysis, backup and recovery, standby, replication, etc. 6. Setup and configuration of PostgreSQL server including clustering on standalone servers and Cloud 7. Security and authentication (User management / Encryption) 8. Monitor and evaluate database performance and adjust database configuration as appropriate 9. Participate in disaster recovery design, testing and execution 10. Provide subject matter expertise to team 11. Experience in automating SRE Database tasks 12.
