Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Data Analysis and Model Formulation:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand dashboard requirements.
  • Analyze Excel data sets, identifying relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for visualization.
  • Design and create effective data models that align with business needs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Dashboard Development:
  • Utilize Excel\'s features and functions to design visually appealing and intuitive dashboards.
  • Develop interactive charts, graphs, and visual elements to represent data trends and insights.
  • Ensure that the dashboards provide a clear representation of the data, enabling effective decision-making.
Automation and Data Refresh:
  • Implement automation processes to enable the automatic refresh of data within the dashboards.
  • Set up scheduled data refreshes to ensure that the dashboards always reflect the latest information.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data refresh and automation.
SharePoint Online Integration:
  • Publish and share completed dashboards on SharePoint Online to make them accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SharePoint administrators to ensure seamless integration and access control.
Documentation and Training:
  • Document data sources, data transformation processes, and dashboard specifications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to interact with and interpret the dashboards effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on Power BI and data visualization best practices to enhance dashboard quality and functionality.
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of dashboard development processes.
Qualifications:
  • Has experience of 2 to 3 years in Power BI and SharePoint Development.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in Power BI data manipulation, visualization, and dashboard development.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI functions, formulas, and features for data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience with data modeling and structuring data for optimal dashboard design.
  • Familiarity with automation techniques within Excel, including VBA macros.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into actionable dashboard designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
