ExxonMobil is one of Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.

What you will do

ExxonMobil in Singapore is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to advance and execute its strategy through a power-focused commercial role that supports its Asia Pacific business lines.

  • Develop & support power-related projects, opportunities & technologies for upstream, downstream, and low carbon solutions value chains that promote ExxonMobil business objectives
  • Lead development of long-term power market studies and price outlooks
  • Develop & support commercial power agreements necessary for ExxonMobil\xe2\x80\x99s upstream, downstream, and low carbon solutions business line strategies.
  • Support development, prioritization and selection of commercial, and as applicable, technical concepts, for new and existing assets
  • Create and capture value across the value chain through appropriate commercial actions
About you

Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results through a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrated teamwork, communication and leadership skills are essential. Candidate should be flexible with international travel. Skills requirements are as follows:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering - preferably Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical; other degrees will be considered commensurate with work experience
  • A minimum of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant industry experience required; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered
  • Experience in developing power projects for upstream, downstream & low carbon solutions applications or for power producers/utility companies
  • Ability to negotiate long-term power purchase agreements or other power-related contracts
  • Ability to structure and develop the full value chain to enable gas/LNG/ammonia/hydrogen into power sales
  • Knowledge of Asia Pacific power markets, market fundamentals, associated relevant regulations, and standard industry contracting practices
  • Experience with the power plants\xe2\x80\x99 technical design and development cycle process (primarily through pre-FEED stage), knowledge of renewable energy, and the ability to run the Thermoflow suite of tools (GTPRO, GTPEACE, GTMASTER) will be added advantages.
