Powerbuilder Developer

Job Description
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using PowerBuilder (versions such as 9/10/12.5/2019 R2 or as required by the environment).
- Enhance, optimize, and maintain existing PowerBuilder applications to improve performance, usability, and stability.
- Implement new features, modules, and upgrades based on functional requirements and business needs.
- Work with relational databases (e.g., Sybase ASE/IQ, SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) using SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Optimize database queries and handle data migration, mapping, and integration tasks.
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and security across application layers.
- Collaborate with business analysts, end-users, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions or enhancements.
- Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to designing robust and scalable systems.
