We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of PR & Communications Specialist – Regional Marketing Team based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

This role directs the public relations (PR) and internal communication strategy & execution in Asia, produces content (for external and internal channels).

Proactive outreach to build a stronger brand for MSC locally , and increase visibility of the company’s strengths and business priorities. Build partnerships with company executive team to create and distribute compelling content to pitch to both traditional and online/social media.

Support global spokespeople for engagements within the Asia region. Collaborate closely with the marketing team for regional/local marketing campaigns and trade /client events.

Network and maintain good relationship with relevant media reporters and editors, news publications, conference organisers, PR agencies and authorities.

Deliverables

Work jointly with MSC Geneva Marketing Team (at HQ) in developing a compelling, impactful and measurable PR strategy connecting key audiences/target customers and media platforms with the right stories from within the company.

Support internal communications events/campaigns within the organization in Asia.

Produce content for internal & external communications such as press releases and pitches, talking points, speeches, advertorials, marketing and sales collaterals.

Gather and produce content for external use and assist to amplify global and/or regional strategic messages for external marketing. Develop materials including messaging, talking points, backgrounders and FAQs in response to external inquiries from media/NGO/authorities.

Elevate the MSC brand through identifying and supporting relevant speaking engagements, webinars and award submissions in the region.

Measure effectiveness of PR and marketing communication campaigns.

Support handling of issues and crises in the region and manage customer and media related communications.

The Candidate

At least Degree holder Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual in English and Mandarin – Written and Spoken) Minimum 7-10 years of PR & Comms experience Preferably in Logistics or Maritime Industry. Resourceful A team player Professionalism and sound work ethics

Remuneration

Successful candidates can expect an attractive salary package commensurating with experience and skill set.

Appropriate training will be provided to supplement and enhance the individual's ability to perform in their responsibilities.
