CONNECTING WITH FAMILIES \xc3\x98 Reviews and adjust home-school programme to better meet family\xe2\x80\x99s needs. \xc3\x98 Develop and implement family programmes through constant feedback and evaluation. \xc3\x98 Reviews and evaluates the various conflict resolution strategies used, and shares information with colleagues. \xc3\x98 Employ strategies to build networks among families in the centre and community. \xc3\x98 Develops a mentoring programme for staff to deal effectively with all types of families. CENTRE OPERATIONS \xc3\x98 Support the implementation of the Child Care Act and Regulations, Licensing Instrument, Early Years Development Framework and any other initiatives that apply to improving programme and facilities. \xc3\x98 Implement quality standard for ECCE programme in centre. \xc3\x98 Handle centre tour; operation portion FINANCE \xc3\x98 Assisting in budgeting of centre\xe2\x80\x99s income and expenditure. \xc3\x98 Know the requirements such as fees, subsidy. HEALTH AND SAFETY \xc3\x98 Fire extinguishers are functional at all times. \xc3\x98 Toiletries (eg. Liquid soap and toilet paper) and hand drying facilities are available and easily accessible. \xc3\x98 Proper maintenance and ensure all levels of administration of medicine forms are up-to-date. Documents must be available for inspections at all times. \xc3\x98 Liquid hand soap and hand-drying facilities / paper towels are available and within easy reach of children. Posters of proper hand washing procedures are prominently displayed at children\xe2\x80\x99s eye-level near the hand washing area. \xc3\x98 Maintains records for daily health checks for children upon their arrival. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT \xc3\x98 Participate in mentoring peers and other colleagues. \xc3\x98 Induction programme for new staff and colleagues on centre\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures. \xc3\x98 Facilitate exchange of professional ideas for discussion among colleagues. \xc3\x98 Influences staff to join in efforts for continuous improvement and change. \xc3\x98 Participates in hiring processes. \xc3\x98 Conduct assessment of staff to identify ways to maintain a positive organisation climate and work environment.
