Who we are looking for We are looking for energetic teachers with a strong personal passion to teach 1- to 8-year-olds. A successful KUNO method teacher is one who:

• can lead children to explore and learn through experiential learning and inquiry (instead of spoon-feeding/lecturing), scaffold learning and make lessons feel like play
• is detailed and analytical, learns fast, flexible, likes Math-olympiad questions, brain teasers and puzzles
• is a people person, calm, patient, cheerful, a good sense of humour and responsible
• is confident in interacting with parents and articulate
• is a team player, proactive, takes initiative to help others, works independently, communicates openly and with tact, open to feedback

This is not a typical worksheet-based tuition or lecture-style teaching. Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver KUNO method lessons in English in a fun and engaging way for 3 to 6-years old
• Create and prepare lesson materials
• Assess and document children\'s performance against the lesson\'s learning objectives
• Provide 5-minute update to parents on the lesson in English (main) and Mandarin (supplementary)

Qualifications and skills

• Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree from a recognised university in any discipline
• No experience required as coaching will be provided
• Candidates with a Diploma/Degree in early childhood education and candidates with relevant teaching experience will be an added bonus
• Proven academic records in English, Math and Science
• Required language(s): English, Chinese (in order to converse with children/parents who can only speak in Mandarin)
• Preferred language: Japanese (in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates)
