Job Description

We are currently looking for a Pricing Analyst to manage our APAC Operation. As Pricing Analyst you are helping to optimize pricing for customers and supporting the Power Solutions sales organization in pricing and all price-related issues. You are the first contact person for Account Managers for all pricing relevant topics and you help them to work as autonomously as possible and you coach them to make the right pricing decisions. You will become part of the Global Pricing Team and report to the APAC Pricing Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Analyze the customers from an overall perspective and give recommendations on all kinds of commercial aspects (i.e. price, payment terms, incoterms and currency strategy)
• Automate and align Pricing Processes in APAC with the rest of the Danfoss Power Solutions organization
• Provide input for price negotiations and all price-related issues
• Evaluate target price requests, work on quotations, and facilitate agreements with the Business Units where needed
• Manage and maintain the ERP business systems daily, covering price changes and price record implementation for customers as well as the calculation of list prices and net prices
• Ensure smooth order processing by implementing approved quotes into the business system and make sure that price defects will be solved in a timely manner
• Perform updates and maintenance of pricing data in the ERP business systems and make sure agreed price changes are implemented into the business system
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of pricing KPI\'s, and highlight potentials for improvement

• Relevant bachelor\'s degree or a high level of relevant business experience
• Experience with SAP/MFG-Pro and Salesforce is a strong plus
• Able to learn the financial ratios used in understanding and running a business, that meets profitability goals
• Passion for the overall business and capability to focus on the profitable growth goals of the organization
• Able to challenge the Sales team when optimizing the customer price
• Basic negotiating skills and the ability to conduct meetings
• Energetic and willing reach optimum solutions between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests
• Strong Excel skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
