Pricing Analyst, APAC

About our Team

Report to Elsevier Health Director of Pricing and be based in our Singapore office.

About the Role

You will be part of the Strategy Function and is crucial in ensuring the long-term success of our products. Support key projects and help us base commercial decisions on sound analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

Supporting long-term strategic pricing projects

Supporting pricing of large/complex deals and work with sales teams to ensure pricing guidelines are met

Working with senior team members to plan new product launches in all countries

Drawing insights from analysing different sources e.g. sales, usage & interview data

Managing work independently and support delivery of a variety of initiatives

Performing analysis to inform business decisions

Conducting research on the market & competitors e.g. Conducting web-based research on policy changes that our solutions could support

Reviewing annual reports to understand innovations in the market and analyzing customer research to inform future product development

Requirements

Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a pricing position in any industry or consulting

Be familiar with the healthcare industry, B2B publishing or information sector

Be able to quickly understand a business, its key drivers and commercial risks / challenges

Able to think tactically and connect strategy to operations

Have excellent attention to detail & analytical skills that they can apply to all types of data

Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Have advance skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge in Access, SQL or predictive analytic tools is a plus
