Job description We seek dynamic teachers for various subjects who are able to: prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development prepare pupils for external examinations and competitions manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior communicate with parents, communicates pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and organizational training events help students reach their full potential and should be passionate about teaching work well in a team while contributing ideas and sharing course materials inspire young people from all backgrounds prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment make the school environment lively with a good sense of humor Tamil Teacher We seek teacher who is familiar with international curricula (especially Cambridge Primary Curriculum) and current pedagogical techniques and who are comfortable with technology A degree in Tamil is preferred but those with a degree in other disciplines are also welcome to apply. Ability to teach core academic subjects other than Tamil would be an added advantage. A degree in education B.ED or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience Art Teacher Job Responsibilities Planning lessons on art and art history in accordance with students' learning objectives. Preparing school walls (wall murals) and notice boards according to themes. Preparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment. Developing students' drawing, colouring, and painting techniques. Providing instruction on the use of media such as graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolour paint. Teaching students about art history. Assigning and grading projects and examinations. Recording and reporting on students' progress. Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson. Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed. Job Prerequisites: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with teaching qualification, or equivalent. Prior experience as an Art Teacher. Demonstrated excellence in a variety of art techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capacity to supervise group work. Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills. Supportive, flexible disposition. Available to work during evenings, on occasion. Ability to teach core academic subjects other than Art would be an added advantage.
