Job Description
We are working with a software company, and as part of their continued growth, NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Principal Backend Engineer to join their Singapore team.We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Backend Engineer with over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient microservice-based applications.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership on cloud computing strategies and best practices.
- Define backend architecture for enterprise solutions and oversee the full SDLC.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers to align on the product vision.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Bachelors degree in Computing, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in systems architecture and backend engineering.
- Expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, Kubernetes, Java Spring Boot, Kafka, and both SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and backend architecture.
- Proven track record in CI/CD implementation, DevOps toolsets, and container deployments.
- Excellent documentation, time management, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (desirable).
