As Life & Health Insurance domain focused principal consultant, you will be a topic expert in this practice area and lead project teams. You will drive the delivery of business and transformation projects through project steering, ensuring content delivery, providing guidance to other consultants as well as managing client relationships. You will also work with engagement managers and partners in identifying business development opportunities and pitching for new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery projects through individual contribution (e.g., driving analysis, project management, developing recommendations)
  • Develop service offerings & internal capabilities for APAC Region in
  • Life Insurance domain focused on areas such as Sales & Distribution (Agency, B2B2C Partnerships etc)/ Business Transformation, and
  • Health Insurance domain focused on areas such as Health ecosystems (Value Added Services, Network Management & TPA)/ Business Transformation
to enhance the Allianz Consulting APAC service & capability portfolio
  • Liaise with the larger Allianz Consulting global community working on Life & Health projects and foster the development of the community & branding in APAC
  • Take responsibility for project progress and technical leadership of project team members
  • Develop strong customer relationships with key clients and senior stakeholders through analysis and anticipation of their needs and developing innovative solutions/ proposals to best serve their needs and allow for future business opportunities
  • Support business development efforts by building relationships across the organization and helping with pitches especially ones related to Life & Health Insurance
  • Engage in projects that connect the user, technology, and business perspective
  • Give valuable input to key business decisions with an entrepreneurial and user-cantered mindset
  • Lead, mentor and advise junior colleagues within the APAC team
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree, MBA, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operational business or management consulting in
  • Life Insurance Domain focused on areas such as Sales & Distribution (Agency, B2B2C Partnerships etc)/ Business Transformation, or
  • Health Insurance Domain focusing on Health ecosystems (Value Added Services, Network Management & TPA) / Business Transformation
  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Second language would be an advantage
  • Prior project experience in at least one of the above focus areas
  • Strong project management experience and functional expertise
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills
  • International working experience and/or ability to navigate different working cultures
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving proficiency, including methodological & conceptualization skills, moderation, and presentation.
  • Passionate, self-driven and independent with a knack for creativity & innovative thinking
