Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing and implementing of the Packet Core Network (EPC, 5GC).
• Handle the IP infrastructure within the packet core network (Routers, Switches, Firewall).
• Carry out capacity planning and software upgrade/patches to ensure the high availability and reliability of the Packet Core Network.
• Lead the design, rollout and implementation of new Packet Core hardware and software.
• Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) trial of new solution or technologies.
• Interact with different vendors and cross-functional teaming to deliver on the solutions with IP networking team, Operations, Audit, Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), Security etc.
• Formulate test instructions for certification (i.e. acceptance testing), creating Method of Procedures whenever tasks are to be executed.

• Degree/Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experiences in the following:

• Mobile Network deployment experience in 4G & 5G Packet Core such as MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF.
• Ability to do tracing and log analysis for Packet Core domain.
• Familiar with 3GPP call flows, IP routing protocols and network security.
• Ability to develop technology architecture, migration plan by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and executing User Acceptance Test plan.
• Understanding of application protocol like VoLTE, VoNR and other OTT protocols.
• Configuration, Feature Testing, Troubleshooting of Packet Core Network.
• Possess strong analytical and technical writing competency and effective interpersonal skills to work with vendors and cross functional groups within the company.
• Working knowledge of Huawei or Nokia Packet Core Networks would be advantageous.
• Able to perform occasional night operations for network deployment.
