The main objectives of this position are to manage and oversee AIA IM efforts and delivery of our MAS ESG -Sustainability commitments. These commitments come from 2 sources:

1.\\tMAS in Singapore and the obligations/guidelines for AMCs to drive sustainability scenario analysis and engagement impacts and reporting; and
2.\\tSingapore Sustainable Finance Association (SSFA) focus on a few key areas.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and implement the ESG target operating model in Investment Management to allow us to meet these current and future sustainability commitments.

• Assist the Chief Investment Officer in developing strong ESG capabilities and embed these into the teams in order to deliver the increasing complex needs of the MAS and the AIA insurance clients.

• Work closely with internal parties to achieve the objectives above and avoid duplication of effort.

• To support the Research & Stewardship team in the rollout and development of AIA\'s ESG requirements as and when they overlap with the MAS requirements. This may include 1) portfolio ESG monitoring and transition management and 2) reporting on engagement with underlying investee companies.

• Expected to partner with Middle Office reporting to ensure we stay ahead of both local MAS but also AIA requirements on data and infrastructure.

• Support the system rollout in the investment teams specifically around the area of ESG to ensure the business gets the optimal use of the new system across all investment teams.

• Stay ahead of relevant global sustainability developments.

• Report on IM ESG progress versus commitments to stakeholders and also develop IM ESG policies & procedures in IM to be consistent with both AIA and MAS requirements.
