Tasks
Role: System Quote Lead for Acquisitions for Architecture and Networking products (CE)
Responsibilities:

• Technical Leading and Coordination of System Quote Activities in Architecture and Networking products
• Close collaboration with Quote Project Manager and Quote Technical Lead as well as with other discipline SW/HW/Mechanical
• Supportive technical customer interface using the functional system know-how during quote phase
• Map customer project needs to existing platform and generic function solutions by selecting most competitive solutions by maximum re-use, minimum development time and lowest design risk
• Check technical feasibility of customer wishes together with platform/function specialists and document the possible deviations and assumptions.
• Close collaboration with Application Team Leaders by providing early information about potential new project and estimated needed resources
• Close collaboration with other System Quote Leads and Deployment Engineers by supporting/review/knowledge exchange
• Handover the technical concept to the Project System Team and Deployment Engineers, in case the Project was won.
• Apply lesson learned from previous Quotation and bring improvement ideas into System Quotation Process/Methods (continue improvements)

Qualifications
Requirements:

• Degree/Master in engineering with focus on electrical, embedded software, computer science or comparable qualification
• Team Leading Experience as well as deeper knowledge & experience in one of the Role: System Engineer / System Architecture or Test Management
• Experience in Effort Estimations/Price Indication as well as Technical Concept is a plus
• Knowledge in automotive development processes (ASPICE, CMMI, ISO26262, etc.)
• Knowledge in understanding of vehicle architectures, communication protocols, bus systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), Cyber security, Operating SW (AUTOSAR, Adaptive AUTOSAR, LINUX) and experience in microcontroller selection.
• Excellent communication skills with competent appearance in front of the customer and business partner
• Teamwork skills in acting as a link between the disciplines and international locations
• Strong ability to communicate in English in a multi-site international setup
• Team player & Ability to interact with customers and business partners.
