Job Description


  • Providing and facilitating the service standards in line with company procedures, which includes but not limited to:
    • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance. Hair kept neat or tied up, nails trimmed and uniform pressed.
    • Assist Senior Staff in managing the operations of the venue ensuring daily smooth operations
    • Ensure opening procedures are completed before the restaurant is open for guests.
    • Provides smooth and efficient service at the Bar/Restaurant ensuring that standards are met at all times.
    • Be attentive to the customer’s needs and check in when appropriate.
    • Presents menu/drinks list, answers inquiries, and provides recommendations to guests after assessing their needs and preferences.
    • Clearing and resetting counters or tables.
    • Strives to provide excellent quality service to all guests.
    • Ensure safe distancing measures and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
    • Be able to explain offers, specials and seasonal items to customers.
  • Maintain and upkeep the bar and equipment, which includes but not limited to:
    • Ensures a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of food and beverage items, equipment, and other facilities.
    • Well–versed with the bar layout and where stocks are kept.
    • Maintains par stocks of beverages and guest supplies.
    • Ensure that prep is done according to the requirement and operation needs.
    • Ensures all glasses are well polished.
    • Assists in Bar stock inventory and maintains an accurate inventory record.
    • Make sure towels are washed and dried properly before using.
    • Floor is sweeped and mopped every night.
    • Bar stocks ordering and supplier relations.
  • Have an interest in upgrading yourself as an bartender:
    • Have exceptional knowledge of classic cocktails.
    • Well versed in basic spirit knowledge.
    • Keen to learn more from senior staff.
    • Able to concoct and provide input in menu development.
    • Able to lead and guide Junior Bartenders to uphold high bar operations standards.
  • Be able to rotate and assist the floor operations when needed.
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • At least 3-4 years of working experience in a bar/related field.
  • Proficient bartending technique skills.
  • Well-developed knowledge of all kinds of beverages.
  • Excellent customer service skills and friendly.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Well-organised and clean.
  • A team player that communicates effectively with all employees.
  • Keen for opportunities to learn to be multi-skilled and cross-trained.
  • Able to commit to be on standby and cover for other employees when required.
