Purpose of the job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Sitecore, JavaScript, and React Native.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, JavaScript, TypeScript and React Native
• Experience in designing and implementing highly secured and high-performance distributed systems
• Experience with Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, serverless and automation tools and frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and direction to the development team
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being produced
• Ensure all software meets or exceeds specified requirements and adheres to industry best practices

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, JavaScript, TypeScript and React Native
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers
• Expert in creating simple solutions to complex problems
• Strong understanding of software development best practices
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
