Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flatbed Print Operator to manage and execute high-quality digital printing projects using our large-format solvent flatbed printer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, routine maintenance, and quality control to ensure all printed materials meet client specifications and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain large-format solvent flatbed printers (e.g., loading materials, adjusting print settings, managing RIP software). Perform pre-press checks on digital files to ensure optimal print quality and color accuracy. Monitor print jobs throughout the process, making real-time adjustments for color, registration, and consistency. Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the printer, specifically related to solvent ink systems, to ensure maximum uptime. Maintain a clean and organized work area and manage inventory of printing supplies (inks, substrates, etc.). Perform final quality inspections on printed materials.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating and maintaining industrial flatbed solvent printers. Strong understanding of color management, resolution, and various printing substrates compatible with solvent inks (e.g., vinyl, banner material, acrylic, metals, wood, etc). Proficiency with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw) and RIP software. Ability to lift and handle heavy materials Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Able to setup, operation, routine maintenance, and quality control to ensure all printed materials meet client specifications and production standards.
