The company produces chemicals, polymers, performance chemicals, agri-nutrients, metals, and specialties, catering to various industries such as automotive, electronics, packaging, construction, healthcare, agriculture, and more.

Responsibilities:

Process Design and Improvement

  • Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for petrochemical production while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Evaluate existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose modifications to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Technical Analysis
  • Conduct thorough analysis of process data, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Perform simulations and modeling to predict process behavior under different conditions.
Safety and Environmental Compliance
  • Ensure processes comply with safety protocols, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Identify potential hazards and risks, and implement measures to mitigate them.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of processes.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to implement new technologies and innovations.
Process Optimization
  • Continuously monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimization, including energy efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and minimize production costs.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of process parameters, changes, and improvements.
  • Generate technical reports and documentation for management, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
Project Management
  • Manage process-related projects, including timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers as necessary.
Training and Development
  • Provide training and guidance to plant operators and junior engineers on new processes and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience in process engineering within the petrochemical or chemical industry.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, regulations, and environmental compliance.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
