Job Description

Maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and real-time solution implementation
Ensure smooth process flow with high quality, high yield, low cost by working with the Maintenance Specialists and Production Supervisors to achieve the overall committed targets

Provide cross functional/cross-dept/cross-fab support & coverage based on need & priority

1. Manufacturing Line Support
A) Conduct real time problem analysis on equipment failures, alarms, and SPC violation & determine solutions through liaising with all parties involved & through studying past cases Implement corrective actions using established OCAP procedures Implement more user-friendly tools, process specifications, clear procedures & TPM
B) Response to Lots on Hold. Disposition lots at real time, and implement actions to prevent re-occurrence
C) Support training of operators through spec documentation, establishment of training materials, as well as training of OJT trainers

2. Process Set - Up & Optimizations
A) Work with Senior Engineers to set-up process recipe of newly introduced processes or new process equipment or tools
B) Conduct appropriate equipment, tools and process qualification
C) Study the process window and robustness of the existing process, and introduce the best fact-based process. Provide technical support on process quality or process standardization for product/process industrialization

3. Equipment Management
A) Manage equipment failure through Statistical Process Control (SPC). Provide analysis to identify specific equipment failure mode for the maintenance team to work
B) Perform appropriate equipment qualification after every maintenance intervention
C) Perform FMEA on all critical process &/or machine
D) Work closely with the maintenance management to ensure maximum possible up-time with lowest possible MTTR

4. Cross Functional Support
A) Provide support to QA department on all quality issues
B) Liaise with Technology and Device Engineering Department for all engineering evaluation trials

5. Documentations & Procedures
A) Ensure all processes are documented with properly written and clearly defined procedures in an electronic media
B) Update and maintain all line specifications electronically to align with the existing working process

6. Automation, Robustness & Continuous Improvement
A) Drive automation solutions for robust manufacturing operation like recipe download and compare, equipment constant compare, mandatory WSO controlled qualification procedures, e-Star alarm monitoring and interlock, while quality and speed are not compromised

7. Environment , Health & Safety
A) Maintain stringent safety standard, support CERT activities
B) Promote Safety and Environmental awareness
C) Explore into ways and means to maintain EHS programs in daily work
D) Lead by example to maintain EHS mission and vision
E) Assess, manage and implement of Risk Work Plan

Profile

You are suitable for this role if you are/ have:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, excellence computer skills
• Familiar with Semiconductor Theory; good understanding of process flow
• Strong analytical skills with SPC (Statistics process control) in problem solving
• Knowledge of Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Monitoring and Control
• Be able to identify critical issues and then develop strategies to overcome the issues
