Brief Summary: The Process Engineer oversees all manufacturing processes in the Fine Cementing Department. This includes improvements of existing and development of new processes as well as the management of consumables in the department. It is necessary to keep in mind that production target remains the key focus and compliance of to safety and quality standards are maintained.
Essential Functions: Production / Quality Control
- Propose and implement tooling and fixtures of cementing and assembly part.
- Handle new products and processes.
- Design of tooling.
- Implement production processes and procedures leading to productivity improvements with project based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety and reduce operating costs.
- Drive teams to achieve KPIs.
- Ensure all product and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to the finished result
- Maintain and control all material & equipment to ensure they meet the quality standards.
- Recommend to improve work method.
- Remove waste from the processes, contribute to technical skills in production and improve production flow.
- Advise supervisor promptly of problems so that corrective action can be taken immediately.
- Ensure manufacturing process operation and its work content for new and existing products meet manufacturing standards.
- Create manufacturing routings in SAP system.
- Summit RFQ for new processes.
- Create Acceptance Test Report and Work Instructions for new processes.
- Degree in Chemical / Automation / Mechanical engineering.
- Operational experience in cementing and assembly or thin film coating production technologies or optics manufacturing environment with two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Good analytical mind with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Experience and knowledge in ISO standards, SAP system, Lean and Continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
