Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically mobile throughout rotations. Current right to work in Singapore and do not require GSK\xe2\x80\x99s sponsorship of a visa

We are looking for highly motivated engineering graduates who are keen to develop into the future engineering, operational and technical leaders within GSK. Working at one of our manufacturing sites in Singapore you will help to ensure we have the latest, safe, efficient and reliable processes and equipment to deliver life-saving medicines and vaccines to people in 90 % of the world\xe2\x80\x99s countries. This role will enable you to develop your skills in an industry that is making radical changes to the way it develops and manufactures products.

Over 3 years, our Future Leaders graduate programme will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. Regardless of your starting role, you will have 3 rotations in business-critical roles in different areas over the course of the programme, enabling you to develop a wide understanding of engineering in a pharmaceutical environment and giving you a broad experience to kickstart your career. You will: -

Improve your technical skills while gaining valuable leadership experience.

Have stretch rotations in business-critical roles.

Be provided the opportunity to network and increase your visibility with senior leaders who will mentor or coach you and support you with planning your rotations.

Be given a generous development budget to accelerate your learning & grow your technical, professional, personal or leadership skills; and participate in our Ahead Start leadership Skills development program; and

Participate in Kaizens \xe2\x80\x93 a short-term breadth project which could give you international exposure

What will you do?

There are three positions open for graduates at both our Medicines manufacturing site (Jurong) and our Vaccines manufacturing site (Tuas). Roles are available in (1) Process Engineering and (2) Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) teams.

As a graduate in a Process Engineering team, you can expect to develop your knowledge and may gain experience in:

A range of different products and technologies associated with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and vaccines manufacturing.

Identifying opportunities for safety and environmental improvements, including HAZOP and risk assessments.

Troubleshooting and apply DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve & Control) principles to solve process/operational issues in a manufacturing facility.

Design, installation, commissioning & validation of new processes & equipment.

New Product Introduction and Technology transfer.

Plant turnaround activities ranging from equipment configuration to plant decontamination.

Process automation and new technologies e.g., PAT, data analytics and continuous manufacturing

Deliver business critical projects including yield and productivity improvement initiatives.

As a graduate in the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team, you can expect to develop your knowledge and gain experience in

Providing advice on EHS aspects concerning process safety and occupational hygiene.

Facilitating Process Hazards Identification & Risk Assessments such as HAZOP, Safety Integrity Level and Chemical Exposure Control Approach assessments.

Liaising with local authorities to obtain approval for plant modifications and introduction of new processes.

Conducting pre-startup checks of new facilities, including validation of new occupational hygiene control measures such as noise enclosures and containment devices.

Carrying out process safety barrier audits and occupational hygiene assessments to ensure controls are in-place, in-use and effective.

Troubleshooting operational problems in our environmental operations that support key utilities supply and legal compliance.

Optimise environmental operations for productivity improvement.

Support key sustainability infrastructure projects to deliver sustainability Key Performance Indicators
