Attend toolbox meetings and document operational statuses in logs.
Support shift operations during manpower shortages or special periods.
Adhere to SOPs, EHS regulations, and complete checksheets accurately.
Report near misses, deviations, and incidents promptly.
Maintain housekeeping standards, track tools, and ensure safe handovers.
Collect data/samples, support SOP revisions, and monitor supplies.
Participate in ASDM activities, manage car seal program, and report valve positions for safety.
Ensure product quality and prevent contamination.
Stop operation if abnormalities arise, inform supervisor, and participate in risk management during non-routine work.
Participate in CERT, emergency drills, and act according to the emergency plan as needed.
Act as shift representative, provide feedback, and train new technicians.
Follow HR policies, participate in overtime if needed, and support ad-hoc shift work when required.
Requirements
Diploma or Nitec in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a chemical processing environment; experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is a plus.
Basic understanding of chemical processing and familiarity with ISO14001, ISO9001, and SS506 Part 3.
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, day-shift environment.
