We are currently based at Metropolis, Buona Vista, Singapore. This is a 2 years contract role, with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for procurement procedures and process improvement activities. The activities included but not limited to updating and maintaining Procurement Procedures, Functional KPIs, Technology Enhancement, Procurement SharePoint, Spend Analysis, Source-To-Pay Process Improvement, Functional Training and Development, and Procurement Communications

  • Analyze Procurement Spend data for various projects and Identify cost saving and avoidance opportunities.
  • Develop Procurement Dashboard and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Procurement function; update and monitor them on monthly basis; communicate them to procurement function and other departments (key stakeholders). Lead the KPI improvement activities.
  • Responsible for Performance Evaluation consolidation activities
  • Identify the Technology enhancement requirements for Procurement, Materials Control, Expediting and Logistics. Develop business case for the Technology enhancement and Lead the enhancement activities.
  • Develop workflow for Source-To-Pay process. Work with Accounts Payable on Supplier Payment Performance issues and Blocked Invoices resolution.
  • Develop Project Plan for supplier vetting procedure implementation and execute the activities.
  • Ensure the consistency in the Procurement Procedure compliance across the company business and functions.
  • Develop Training Material for Procurement function and Conduct Procurement Procedure trainings, if required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in engineering /IT business administration, procurement, operations or related field.
  • Minimum five years working experience in procurement and supply chain management, supplier quality systems, process improvements, spend data analysis.
  • Procurement working knowledge and IT background/experience is an ideal combination for this role.
  • Broad Professional knowledge and experience of principles and practices of purchasing, materials and logistics management.
  • Working Knowledge on Procurement/Supply Chain ERP/Business Systems various modules.
  • Must have a good understanding of procurement and supply chain workflow and processes.
  • Must have good computer skills including power point presentations, MS excel spread sheet analysis.
  • Demonstrates ability to interpret & apply relevant policies & procedures.
  • Demonstrates good organization & project planning skills.
  • Possesses good communication and training skills.
