Job Description

SUMMARYResponsible for supporting procurement and Inventory for the Group and involved in managing a spectrum of the procurement processes for direct and indirect material, as well as maintaining inventory levels.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Responsible for planning, buying, sourcing, and expediting materials from approved vendors.. Validate and analyze all orders before converting PR to PO.. Monitor on-time delivery performance from suppliers, and feedback to Superior when there are continuous delivery delinquents from suppliers.. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics team and follow up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.. Track inventory level and order pipelines to avoid over-and under-stocking situations.. Ensure compliance with the company's and department's policies and standard operating procedures.. Carry out all tasks allocated by Superior, which may include negotiating material costs and delivery terms. . Manage inventory requisitions, reverse logistics, and shipments.. Handle Purchasing, quotation, sourcing. Prepare inventory reports for management and vendors.. Manage consignment projects and submission of monthly sales reports to vendors.. Coordinating incoming shipments, as and when necessary. . Analysis and selection of suppliers based on figures in replenishment report. Upload orders sent to suppliers to the ERP system.. Track assigned suppliers monthly to mitigate any delay issues.. Liaise with various shipping forwarders to search for the best rates and best dates for the collection of packed items from suppliers.. Liaise with the sales team to get their client ready to prepare shipment and payment for indented goods with overseas clients in the income pack shipment.. Liaise with the warehouse on any shortage/damage of goods when items arrive and follow up with the supplier accordingly.. Prepare monthly reports on inventory status consisting of goods sold, goods received, and incoming goods. REQUIREMENTSQualifications and experience:

  • Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or materials trading field is advantageous
  • Good command of English and Mandarin skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing)Key skills:
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel for reporting, Word & PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
  • Good listening, analytical and problem-solving skillsPersonal Qualities:
