Job Description
My client, an market leader in pharmaceutical industry, is looking out for a Procurement Director who will be spearheading and managing the direct procurement activities of the group which includes area such as packaging and finished products etc. Responsibilities
- An active contributor for the Operations\' leadership team.
- Plan and execute plans in the area of budgeting and business strategy.
- Develop and lead the procurement team.
- Work closed with internal and external stakeholders in implementing strategies to drive quality and productivity.
- Develop and execute plans for supplier management systems.
- At least more than 12 years of experience in procurement and preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experienced in using SAP, Veeva and ComplianceWire.
- Possesses a degree in engineering, healthcare or business or related field.
- MBA is a bonus.
- Strong track record in strategic sourcing team building and transformation.
- Ability to liaise effectively with EMOs, 3PLs and other functional groups within the organization.
