Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful

Procurement Engineer / Senior Procurement Engineer

(Fabrication & Structure) to join our Materials Department. You will play a key role in developing and managing suppliers for

precision machining, sheet metal, and structural fabrication parts

used in high-performance semiconductor and automation equipment. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and a drive to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and qualify new suppliers for

fabrication and structural components

such as precision machined parts, enclosures, sheet metal, and welded frames. Evaluate and enhance supplier performance, capacity, and capability to align with the company's growth and quality objectives. Negotiate pricing, lead time, and contractual terms to ensure best value procurement. Initiate and implement

cost-reduction and value-engineering programs

with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier competitiveness and reliability. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to resolve technical or delivery issues. Prepare and analyze procurement data, and maintain accurate supplier records in the ERP system. Mentor and share procurement best practices to strengthen team capability.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical

,

Mechatronics

, or related engineering disciplines. Minimum

3 years of relevant procurement experience

, preferably in the

semiconductor equipment

,

automation

, or

precision manufacturing

industry. Strong understanding of

fabrication, machining, and metal structure processes

. Hands-on experience in

ERP systems

and

Microsoft Office

applications. Proven negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. * A collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
