ONLY Singaporean / Resident (1) Procurement Engineer ( Mechanical) @ Jurong

• 5 Days week
• Work Location: Jurong (Company transport available from Marsiling and Jurong East)
• Salary Range: S$2600-$3500 (depend on experience)
• Industry : Leading Manufacturer of Marine and Industrial Engines

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and able to handle Chinese documents.
• Min 2 years experience in sourcing for fabrication parts and metal structure for marine and industrial engine projects.
• Sourced and identified suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services from regional countries
• Obtain quotes from new sources to provide costing information and cost reduction
• Develop and negotiate favorable supply agreements with suppliers.
• Achieved Cost savings in procurement, engineering product cost and service contracts
• Maintain standard operating procedures applicable to the Procurement department to ensure work flow process are consistence.
• Qualify suppliers once suppliers are selected and add suppliers into the Approved Vendor List.
• Periodically conduct supplier and product qualification auditing.
• Follow up with delivery lead time of item purchase including shipment arrangement
• Apply engineering knowledge and make decisions for project execution
• Developed project tendering requirements, cost BOM and understanding market trends
• Monitor project schedule and costing
• Coordinate with all levels and keep project on tack, including supplier and production level
• Work with other departments and suppliers to develop an appropriate supply chain model to ensure assurance of supplies with minimal inventory holdings
• Work with other department like Engineering/ Warehouse to ascertain quality standards of items supplied and established Quality plan

(2) Purchasing Executive - Woodlands

• Industry : Engineering and Construction related
• Work Location : Woodlands
• 5 Days week - Mon to Fri 8:30am to 6.15pm
• Salary : $ 2800 to $3200 (depend on experience)

Requirements:

• Applicant must be currently reside in Singapore
• Nitec in Engineering / GCE N/O level with engineering & ISO knowledge
• Must able to handle both English & Chinese written documents & correspondence as well as communication in both languages to respective language spoken supplier / vendors.
• 2-3 years procurement / purchasing / material planner working experience in Engineering or Construction Procurement
• Familiar with nomenclature of engineering products and raw materials used in the metal/steel industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, words & PowerPoint
• Possess excellence time management and must have excellent recall ability.
• Able to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment .
• Must be well organized and communicate well

Jobscope:

• Liaising with Suppliers and Vendors regarding to requisitions for materials ordering, PO and ensure goods will be received timely
• Handle all IN/OUT bound documents and permit for overseas
• Review inventories according to order required and check Suppliers and vendors deliveries against PO on daily basis
• Do tracking on Outstanding PO daily and report HOD if there\'s a delay
• Maintain ISO Supplier System and Yearly Supplier Reviews reports in order to identify Top Tier Suppliers and Vendors every half a year
• Handle CN from Supplier
• Ensure invoices are sent to accounts for payment
• Manage FA and Non FA Goods Administration to Finance.
• Handle all paper work related to Purchasing or tasks given by HOD
