We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. You will partner with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality components on time and cost, ensuring smooth supply for printer shipments and supporting New Product Introductions (NPIs)

Main responsibilities:

Partner with Operations and Product teams to meet metrics in component supply assurance, ensuring timely delivery and high quality for printer shipments. Optimize and continuously improve delivery, quality, and cost of mechanical components. Qualify tooling and parts to ensure they meet design specifications and functionality requirements. Collaborate with R&D to co-develop solutions and propose/implement Design for Excellence (DFx) strategies to achieve cost efficiency from Day 1. Develop commodity strategies and technical process roadmaps to support New Product Introductions (NPIs). Select, develop, and manage sourcing of parts to ensure smooth delivery to manufacturing partners.

How you will work

Hybrid work model: 2-3 days/week onsite Monthly net salary: 6,500 SGD net per month (13 payments)

REQUIREMENTS



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 2+ years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, mold design, and plastic materials selection; experience in metal fabrication and tooling design is a plus. Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and 2D/3D CAD systems. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional projects and supplier collaboration. High-level English proficiency (written and verbal). * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
