Our business is growing rapidly, and we would like to welcome you to be part of the team as a Procurement Engineer.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, organize and manage Procurement and Supplier Management processes to support the business unit's projects and tenders Liaise with key internal stakeholders (Project Manager, Engineers) to understand the project demand for goods, services and works and establish viable, cost-effective and strategic sourcing objectives. Integrate these requirements into the Procurement Plan Manage and provide sourcing support for tendering of new projects, and where necessary, participate in tender review and evaluation Obtain proposals, perform cost estimates to formulate the costing for the assigned packages to aid management in the bidding process and develop a cost structure/strategy Monitor and review market conditions, price and delivery trends for Project materials, equipment and works Engage in sourcing, evaluating, and registering/qualifying new suppliers. Conduct supplier performance evaluation as per procedure Identify and develop alternative suppliers and support cost reduction programs Handle and manage RFQ/RFP, commercial evaluations, price and conditions of contract negotiation, PO/Contract award and PO/Contract administration to final delivery and PO/Contract close out - Ensure the Company's best interest is consistently achieved Ensure that the procurement process is in adherence to Company and Client requirements, Company policies and procedures Evaluate and manage associated supply chain risks and disruption Develop and maintain a commercially sound Supplier List, survey the market for the new supply sources including non-traditional ones and maintain Project "Approved Supplier List" Build, manage and develop relationships and partnerships with suppliers and contractors Ensure that the monthly procurement reports are consolidated and reported on-time Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of the department from time to timeREQUIRED EXPERIENCE: To be a successful candidate, you shall possess Bachelor of engineering in process/ environmental/ material science or related subjects Minimum 2-5 years working on Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects, tenders and sub-contracting. Demonstrate ability to motivate and engage a multi-disciplinary team in complex projects to achieve results for the clients. Working experience with multi-national institutions and clients will be an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Willing to be assigned overseas for short-term assignment if necessary. Proactive attitude. Appropriate software skills. Commercially astute.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $4,000.00 - $4,800.00 per monthSchedule:
