Source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors.
Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for projects.
Assist with daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, getting approval, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
Evaluate supplier performance based on compliance of Company's procurement targets on product quality, delivery time & pricing
Plan work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
Timely updates and submission of Procurement reports such as Purchase Order Summaries
Ensure and maintains proper document classification, sorting filing and proper archiving
Manage Document flows and storage through proper distribution and revision procedures as per project specifications
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Business/ Engineering or equivalent certifications.
Preferred 10 years relevant working experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain preferably in Marine offshore, EPC or Petrochemical industries.
Good knowledge of technical/ commercial terms and specifications used in the above industries.
Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers.
Experienced in performing various functions related to Document Control, Document Archiving and maintenance of Document Registers
Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker.
Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude.
