Job Summary:

• Company background: Fortune 500 Listed Food Manufacturer
• Working location: Central
• Working days & hrs: 5 days, (Mon - Fri) 9am - 6pm
• Salary Range: up to S$ 5500 (dep on exp) + avr 2 to 3 months VB

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for food ingredients, ensuring alignment with company goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality control, and finance, to understand ingredient requirements and ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on food ingredient trends, prices, and availability, and provide insights to the management team.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable pricing, favourable payment terms, and ensure long-term partnerships.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular supplier performance reviews, and address any issues or disputes that may arise.
• Monitor and track supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality control, and adherence to contractual obligations.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize the procurement process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to procurement and food safety.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and analysis related to procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Strong knowledge of food ingredient specifications, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
• Sound understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
