Procurement Executive, Marine/offshore (2 Year Contract)

Job Description
- Carry out Floater Design or modification to the design as instructed by the Design Managers or Senior/Lead Naval Architects, to fulfill project requirements.
- To perform naval architecture activities such as Scantling calculations, Powering calculations, Stability calculations and Launching arrangement/ calculations, inclining experiment etc.
- Ensuring designs adhere to Class Rules, Regulatory Framework, Contact Technical Specifications and to ISO and document control rules.
- To deal with owners and class surveyors to solve basic design, engineering and production issues.
- Provides technical support to Commercial and Engineering Departments for enquiries and ongoing projects.
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Requirement
- Degree in Engineering / Naval Architecture
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Marine / Offshore industry
- Knowledge of functional and operational requirements related to design of all types of mobile offshore unit, ships and offshore vessels
- In-depth knowledge and experience in basic design calculations
- Well versed with regulatory and class requirements
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commfortable with a 2-Year Employment Contract
