Administer purchase requisition, quote and issuance of Purchase Orders. Manage requestors requirements to ensure operational needs such as goods and services supply, track orders for timely delivery and quality of purchased products. Perform vendor assessment and qualification including arranging subcontractors induction program. Manage tender purchases from tender requirements, coordinating and processing to tender evaluation and award. Maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Prepare reports for analysis of monthly spending and saving. Identify, integrate and implement cost saving strategies. Propose process improvement initiatives for the purchasing function of business unit assigned. Requirement : Bachelor degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering. Desired 3 years of work experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors) Knowledge in the elevator and escalator industry (Added advantage, not a must) Experience in tender ,vendor management and negotiations. Supply chain experience will be an advantage. Sound knowledge of Purchasing principles Microsoft Office applications, namely Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP experience an advantage Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Good time management, objective driven and highly initiative.
