• Responsible for sourcing/purchasing of materials and equipment required by the Company
• Prepare Purchase order
• Able to source for new suppliers/alternative parts/raw materials and equipment etc
• Monitor and drive the performance of suppliers to ensure that the Company continues to use the best services
• Work with the Planner and Logistic executive to control and manage inventory to healthy level based on business needs
• Liaise with the Planner and production on the delivery schedule for raw materials regularly
• Negotiate with suppliers on cost and delivery lead time
• Liaise with Supplier on all quality issues
• Update the system latest standard cost for all the raw materials annually.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies, quality replacement and returns in a timely manner
• Lead and drive cost reduction activities for all purchases
• To comply with all defined safe work procedures of the company
• To support company initiatives to protect the environment e.g.by minimizing resources wastages, recycling effort and proper waste disposal

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 2 years relevant experience in procurement or purchasing roles
