Procurement Executive

Tasty Snack Asia is an exciting start-up looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and passionate individual to join our team!

As a Procurement Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products -- from snacks to beverages -- are sourced efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively. You'll work closely with our Operations and Sales teams to support daily procurement activities, supplier management, and inventory control. Your organization skills and keen eye for detail will help streamline purchasing processes and ensure smooth operations from sourcing to delivery.

You will be reporting to the Head of Operations and will play an important role in ensuring our supply chain runs seamlessly and sustainably.

What You Will Do:

? Manage end-to-end purchasing for snacks, beverages, pantry essentials, and packaging materials.

? Request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers for cost, quality, and favourable terms.

? Issue accurate purchase orders (POs) and track delivery timelines to prevent delays or discrepancies.

? Coordinate with the operations team on incoming shipments, stock receiving, and resolving delivery issues.

? Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and supply gaps.

? Conduct regular stock checks and prepare reports on inventory ageing, expiry, and slow-moving items.

? Maintain and update supplier databases, product lists, pricing sheets, and procurement records.

? Organize and verify supplier documentation, including quotations, DOs, invoices, and certifications.

? Work closely with Finance for PO-DO-invoice matching and timely payment processing.

? Support Sales and Operations by ensuring product availability for daily orders, events, and peak seasons.

? Assist with demand forecasting by providing purchasing trends and supplier insights.

? Identify and evaluate new suppliers to improve cost efficiency, quality, or product range.

? Participate in process improvements to enhance supplier performance and streamline procurement workflow.

What You Are:

? Proficient in English with strong communication and negotiation skills.

? At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations (F&B or FMCG experience is a plus).

? Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

? Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

? Proactive learner, problem solver, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

? Strong team player with a positive and growth-oriented attitude.

? Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with inventory or procurement systems (Shopify, QuickBooks) is an advantage.

? Comfortable working in a lean team environment and willing to support other departments when needed.

? Self-motivated, proactive mindset, and eager to grow with a dynamic start-up.
