Job Description



  • Our client is a Japanese trading and distribution company that specializes in the food industry. They are currently looking for a Procurement to join their organization.

    \xe3\x80\x90What you will be working on\xe3\x80\x91
    • Handle purchase requisition based on requirements.
    • Source and negotiate effectively to achieve optimum cost and quality of the assigned categories.
    • Negotiate with suppliers with competitive pricing.
    • Manage to purchase cycle including quotations and pricing, purchase orders, etc.
    • Work closely with Sales Team on the optimum inventory level.
    • Compile pricing fluctuation and update Management on a timely basis.
    • Follow-up and inform the delivery of goods.
    • Liaise with Japan HQ for procurement-related matters.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirement


    \xe3\x80\x90What they are looking for\xe3\x80\x91
    • Minimum Diploma in any field
    • 1-2 years experience in procurement
    • Fluent in English and Japanese language (JLPT 1 or 2) in speaking/listening/writing in order to liaise with Japanese counterparts and HQ for procurement-related matters.
    • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Working Hour

    8:00 ~ 17:00

    - Transport Allowance - $100
    • Annual Leave 14 Days (Incremental of 1 day for each completed year up to a maximum of 21 days)
