Roles & Responsibilities Responsibility As a Logistics & Procurement Manager ensure that their include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. You need duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• When the unexpected happens, need to be ready at all times
• Check the shipment process to avoid problems.
• Prepare quotes for the goods purchase.
• Need liaise with the local supplier and oversea supplier.
• Able to work night shift.
• Need to work on Saturday and Sunday to report quotes to multinational, local suppliers.
• Location MANDAI ESTATE

Requirement

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and experience in the related field are required for this position.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Candidate must possess at least Higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task, and work independently in and pressure environment
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
