Job Description

As Purchasing Manager, you are responsible for:

Purchasing:

• Ensuring the Demand Forecast can be supplied.
• Negotiating win/win outcomes with principals and suppliers
• Manage procurement of existing and new materials
• Maintain and strengthen relationship with principals and vendors
• Provide market updates on suppliers, prices, product availability & market dynamics
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve on any non-conformances
• Work closely with principals and the sales team on new promotional initiatives
• Quarterly reviews of performance with principals
• Review and work on distribution contracts/ agreements with new and existing principals

Inventory Management:

• Review demand forecast with sales to ensure inventory targets are met.
• Maintain/Create Item Master Data & Vendor Masters in SAP
• Management of Government licenses.
  
  

Supply Chain & Logistics:

• Manage 3PL vendors maintaining KPIs
• Manage relationships and negotiate with forwarders and 3PL to set commercial terms
• To implement framework and conduct annual audit of logistics vendors
  
  

Your qualifications or professional profile includes;

• A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Finance, Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a B2B Procurement/ Supply Chain role
• Experience in Flavours & Fragrance/ Specialty Chemicals/ Personal Care industry is an advantage
• Strong negotiation skills & be able to think critically
• Be able to work collaboratively in a team
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
