:Location: Singapore, WoodlandsContract Period: 6 Months (Renewable)Are you a skilled procurement professional looking for an exciting short-term opportunity?Join our clients dynamic team as a Procurement Specialist and contribute to their success!Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Strategies: Formulate and execute effective supply base strategies for the Hardware Commodity Category.
• Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between the company and its suppliers, ensuring strong and successful partnerships.
• Cost Savings: Drive cost-saving initiatives and manage the overall commodity spend, particularly in Asia.
• Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to enhance supplier quality.
• Data Analysis: Run and interpret weekly PPV reports and perform monthly data analysis on global sourcing metrics.
• KPI Reporting: Manage overall KPI reporting to the parent company and the Global Sourcing team.
• Support Team Activities: Assist with the annual cost reduction review and coordinate the yearly standard cost roll.

What Were Looking For:

• Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends and supply market dynamics.
• Flexibility: Willingness to participate in occasional after-hours conference calls with overseas offices.
